Dan started DBS Sales in 2008 after a 20 year career at Panasonic where he worked with Independent agencies marketing Panasonics line of Cordless Power Tools. Dan & Terry were friends in High School where they grew up in Farmington, MI. Though they never dated, “I knew her heart and soul”, Dan would say. In November 2014, during a Thanksgiving holiday trip to Michigan Dan called Terry on a whim after learning she had been widowed 5 years previous. Dan wasted no time and by New Years Eve asked Terry for her hand in marriage. To his surprise she accepted and were married in Las Vegas January 20th during the KBIS show! Terry left her home state of Michigan, her friends and Nursing career to join Dan in the South and began learning the business. It didn’t take long as Terry Lynne (which she is now known by, since living in the South two first names are common) would reflect on her experiences helping her father and brothers in their carpentry careers.

In 2022, an opportunity to expand the agency developed and Clete Massi was brought in to help grow the business.  Forty years as a Journeyman in the woodworking industry, first as a cabinet maker/woodworker then onto sales. The last 20 years as Regional Sales Manager for Knape & Vogt. Before that, Clete sold hardwood, lumber and plywood and just about every other product in Woodworking industry!
